Psalms 65:8 — “The whole earth is filled with awe at your wonders; where morning dawns, where evening fades, you call forth songs of joy.”

There is nothing more beautiful than watching a sunrise or sunset. A few weeks ago, we went to the farm and sat listening to babble of the creek and the singing of whippoorwills, saw deer run through the field and watched
the stars come out at night. These examples God’s handiwork all around us have been a delight to our senses and provided a great calming influence over our minds.

A study was recently released about the benefit of green space in our lives and the impact it plays on reducing cravings of processed foods and refined sugars. Just being outside is healthy and has a tremendous influence on our bodies, our minds and emotions. The study concluded that looking out our windows at nature is a positive health habit.

Learning to find enjoyment outside each day, taking time to look at the beauty of the flowers, the clouds in the sky, the moon at night will improve our health and point us to the creator of all life. Isn’t it interesting the benefits we can find in what God has placed around our lives if we just take the time to stop and appreciate it?

I’m thanking God for the start of a new day and for each of you. Please take a few moments to read our growing prayer list and the pray for needs of our staff and patients.

Have a great day everybody!
